We are seeking a Remote Content Manager, Marketing to own the creation and management of healthcare-focused content, playing a vital role within our team. This position will involve producing, editing, and writing a diverse range of content, including emails, newsletters, social posts, tutorials, whitepapers, webinar scripts and more. The goal is to expand our presence in the healthcare industry, improve brand awareness, generate leads, and attract new users. You’ll help refine our voice and tone across the marketing funnel while establishing our full-funnel content strategy and delivering results.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and lead an omnichannel editorial calendar in accordance with key organization goals and feedback from digital marketing, demand generation, and product marketing.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our market position and value. Help shape the voice of our product marketing. Provide content support and management of product marketing initiatives including email copy, social, press releases and paid media.

  • Strategize on content initiatives that continuously establish our thought leadership within the Clinical and Laboratory spaces.

  • Work alongside our global and product teams to develop a copywriting strategy that hones our unique voice. Ensure that voice is consistent across all materials, content, and communications.

  • Amplify the voice of our customers in the market through the execution of content initiatives (extended case studies, speaking opportunities, videos, references, etc)

  • Coordinate with various PR agencies and partners to lead our earned media strategy across clinical and product spaces.

  • Have your finger on the pulse of emerging content marketing trends and continually bring new insights and ideas to the table to help engage our customers and prospects with our content.

  • Mindful eye on detail and great at providing actionable feedback and critique.

  • Ability to shift your writing voice to resonate with different audiences. You’re not fixed to a particular tone or style and can seamlessly change directions between projects and priorities.

  • Extensive experience working closely cross-functional teams to develop new and innovative solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with product marketing, global digital, demand generation and scientific affairs to ensure our content strategy rolls up to overall marketing goals and supports cross-functional initiatives.

  • Possess excellent communication skills with an ability to optimally communicate strategies, measure and report on progress to peers and leaders alike to gain agreement and cultivate a culture of content throughout the organization.

  • Optimal storyteller with an understanding that content should be purposeful and succinct, even when dealing with sophisticated subjects. You write clearly and effectively and avoid fluff and jargon.

  • Develop and implement an effective content marketing strategy and calendar to drive lead generation, engage healthcare professionals, and stimulate sales demand.

  • Collaborate with sales to craft sales collateral, educational materials, tutorials (both video and written), and establish a consistent feedback loop for rapid iteration.

  • Establish The Binding Site as a thought leader in the healthcare industry by monitoring healthcare trends and using insights from product data to create meaningful and relevant content for healthcare professionals.

  • Define and measure key content metrics related to healthcare content engagement and lead generation.

Experience:

  • 5 years of content marketing experience preferred.

  • Agency or cross-functional team experience preferred.

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

  • Experience with creating copy for press releases, case studies, blogs, and other collateral.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% including occasional weekends and international travel.

  • Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills with a focus on healthcare-related topics.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships in cross-functional, coordinated teams.

  • High level of creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management.

  • Creative and analytical problem solver, with strong collaborative skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize issues/customer concerns, and lead many projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to optimally communicate and deliver results in a virtual environment.

  • Great teammate adept at cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $120,000.00–$154,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
