Job Title: RFPC Technician

Job Description

As an RFPC Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and refurbishing used brakes, assembling metal hardware to carbon/carbon disks, applying oxidation coatings, inspecting worn carbon disks, and operating precision dimensional measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and refurbish used brakes

  • Assemble metal hardware to carbon/carbon disks for riveting operations

  • Manually and/or robotically apply oxidation coating to carbon/carbon disks per drawing/specification requirements

  • Kit heat stacks for customer order fulfillment

  • Inspect worn carbon disks and perform inspections of worn carbon

  • Accurately operate precision dimensional measuring instruments

  • Inspect brakes and discs for wear

  • Enter data in electronic logs

  • Apply coatings to brake discs

  • Install kits

  • Pack and load products for shipment

  • Clean discs once processing is finished

Work Environment

Our facility is a newer building with many upgrades. The RFPC department is located in a climate-controlled area, ensuring a comfortable work environment. Please note, this is a tobacco-free facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25
