Aston Carter Specifications Analyst in Warren, Michigan

Job Title: Specifications AnalystJob Description

As a Specifications Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and creating complex engineering parts lists for both prototype and production usages. Your responsibilities will include interpreting project information to convert into production models or assembly usage statements, analyzing build authorities and engineering work orders to convert experimental design requirements, and maintaining specification liaison with other departments. You will be tasked with creating, maintaining, and revising Product Assembly Documents, Vehicle Description Summaries, Bills of Material, and Part Specifications. Additionally, you will audit emission components, review engineering project plans, and assist in new part definition. You will also support design teams in researching part data, coordinate new feature audits, and construct logical language statements for releases. Your role will involve participating in project teams to improve processes and quality, analyzing data to make recommendations on technical issues, maintaining records of work performed, and coordinating findings with internal and external teams. You will also mentor others in the use of tools and processes and create stop orders.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Warren, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

The position is based in a very clean and air-conditioned warehouse facility. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days of remote work with the rest spent on-site at the Company Vehicle Administration & Distribution Facility located at 7111 E. Eleven Mile Road.
