Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist who is eager to make an impact on their career and take on a new challenge!

You will join a renowned company improving lives of billions of consumers by applying data science. You’ll be welcomed within a large team of Data Scientists with diverse backgrounds and seniorities whereby you will take ownership of an algorithm/model need. Within that network, it will be your job to formulate the problem, apply state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, use P&G’s big data platforms, and present the results from your algorithms and learn new things to create solutions to real opportunities.

With us you will

  • Mine terabytes of data, develop models and algorithms to derive actionable insights, and then translate those insights into business

  • Partner with business leaders to fully understand the problem, and data engineers to automate & deploy your models into applications providing prescriptions to Sales and Marketing executives - that allow P&G to serve consumers worldwide in a better way

  • Have a deep understanding of Statistics and Machine Learning, Optimisation, and other advanced analytical models – and how to apply to real-world problems

  • Analyze and model on big datasets – translating 1.5TB daily consumer touchpoints and 500 million consumers' behaviors to actionable recommendations

  • Answer business questions and propose solutions for business problems by applying machine learning techniques and algorithms and automatise analysis of consumer information or other deep learning data

  • Discover and invent next-generation analytic capabilities for our category analysts and business partners

  • Own your new creative algorithm-driven applications from design-thinking up to user adoption

  • Team up with technology partners to translate your innovations into robust, scaled, analytic solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a quantitative degree (Statistics, Operation Research, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics)

  • Solid code writing capabilities - Python and Spark are preferable

  • Strong technical & analytical skills (R, SAS, SQL, optimization, simulation, predictive modeling etc.)

  • Basic understanding of Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau

  • Proven success in leadership, problem-solving and prioritizing

  • Strong collaboration skills and working comfortably across teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with Big Data Ecosystem: Spark, MapReduce, SQL, Hive

  • Knowledge with Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure orGoogle Cloud Platform

  • Experience with Agile DevOps, Github, Jira, Confluence
