Emerson Entry Tester in Warsaw, Poland

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop technologies to maintain our market leadership using the latest tools and frameworks. Write tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality. Test and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.

  • Write and automate test cases to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product

  • Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes.

  • Foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ design and code and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.

  • Other tasks ordered by the supervisor, which fit into or correspond to the type and nature of work in this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field

  • Experience or knowledge testing application software and/or embedded firmware products

  • Experience or knowledge designing and developing test cases from a user perspective

  • Knowledge and experience working in the process control industry

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience or knowledge of working in an Agile Scrum Team

  • Experience with test automation and frameworks

  • Experience with version control using GIT

  • Experience in the process control industry
