Citigroup KYC Operations Manager in Warsaw, Poland
The KYC Operations Manager is an intermediate management-level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting services in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead KYC operations, including executing processes in accordance with Citi compliance policies and overseeing the KYC control environment
Provide people management and development responsibilities and ensure team service level standards are met
Provide Management Information System (MIS) reporting to senior management and ensure delivery of targets within timelines dictated by BAU and Refresh Program
Perform quality reviews on new client and refresh cases, ensuring a high level of quality before cases are finalized
Manage the team responsible for completion of KYC records with accurate client information and documentation in a timely manner
Follow up with clients to ensure information is received on time
Acts as point of contact to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Provide support to Cluster Head
Qualifications:
Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
Knowledge of Italian language will be an asset
Experience in Control/Risk, Compliance (AML/KYC) or Customer Service function
10 years of Finance/Banking experience, at least 2 year experience in team management
Ability to work well under pressure and tight time frames
Ability to work as the team player
Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret trends and data to make improvements
Willingness to learn and manage in a constantly changing environment
