Transaction Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Transaction Coordinator you will be responsible fordeveloping property strategy and overseeing the execution of transactions for either one large, dedicated client or a number of clients with smaller transaction requirements.

This role will provide support to the Transaction Management to one of CBRE’s client accounts. Its principle focus will be on database maintenance, providing invoicing, reporting, account coordination as well as governance and transaction and governance management support to the account.

What You’ll Do:

  • System management and updates (approx. 50% of time)

  • Regular updates and maintenance of the client project tracking tool (Quickbase)

  • Ensuring the tool functions normal and solving minor database or Excel issues

  • Work with 3rd party software provider

  • Coordinate work of 3 rd party provider in regard to developments of external database

  • Validate all changes made by the 3 rd party provider to the external database

  • Account management (approx. 30% of time)

  • Manage invoicing process (internal CBRE, with client and with 3rd party providers)

  • Regular updates of templates and calculation files (both excel and google documents)

  • Support with financial management and reporting on the account

  • Transactions Management (approx. 20% of time)

  • (Administrative) Transaction Management support at various project stages

  • Support with project initiation activities, general administration, and close out activities

  • Back-up for the EMEA transaction manager

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in transactional and/or real estate experience

  • Advanced knowledge of excel

  • Knowledge of Google apps

  • Experience servicing back-end requirements for database / project management apps or, as a minimum, proven aptitude and interest

  • Enjoys working autonomously

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority

  • Analytics/financial or portfolio analysis experience is an advantage

  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail

  • Pro-active solution mindset and problem solving

  • Ambitious and self - motivated

  • Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks

  • Confident and assertive where required

  • Flexible approach to work

  • Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients

  • Good problem solving & analytical skills

  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Proficiency in English
