Join a highly reputable nonprofit in DC as an Administrative Assistant for a dynamic program team. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate virtual and in-office meetings, and handle travel planning and expense management. Your role will also involve maintaining databases and supporting project teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow. Bring your organizational skills and dedication to help them achieve their mission effectively. This role will be two days in office in downtown DC, 37.5 hours a week. Minimum of 4 years of supporting teams and projects as an administrative assistant required.

salary: $26 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-office meetings

  • Manage calendars and plan travel

  • Handle expense reimbursement and invoice management

  • Maintain databases

  • Support multiple projects and team communication

  • Ensure efficient information sharing and system use for tracking and deadlines

  • Participate in project meetings

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the environment portfolio

  • Provide administrative support to project leadership and teams, including calendar management and meeting planning

  • Proofread and edit documents

  • Coordinate and prepare physical and electronic mailings

  • Update and maintain databases

  • Schedule and prepare for virtual, hybrid, and in-office meetings

  • Track meetings in Salesforce and manage copying tasks

  • Coordinate with team members to track tasks and deadlines

  • Compile daily task lists and schedules

  • Support prioritization and workflow

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conferences with internal and external attendees
