Overview of Role

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and own the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Plan and implement budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning processes, and standard management reporting.

  • Review input from staff and business partners to assist with the strategic planning process.

  • Work with management to establish departmental priorities to meet deadlines. Develop financial policies and procedures.

  • Lead all aspects of the preparation of reporting results.

  • Work with the Operations team to support initiatives within the business.

  • Implement CAPEX projects under company approval guidelines.

  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.

  • Identify and tackle multifaceted, complex, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

  • Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job subject area.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.

Leadership skills to set, lead and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Experienced interpersonal skills and an advanced inquisitive approach.

Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
