KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Head of Global Leadership Communications to join our Global Communications team which is part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive leadership communications plan for Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and other senior leaders, aimed at supporting key programs, objectives, and the firm's Collective Strategy

  • Advise global senior leaders on best practices and proven communications approaches, ensuring alignment and consistency of internal messaging across all channels

  • Lead internal communications strategy, including message development, townhalls, partner conferences, and reporting, to engage employees and bring the firm's Collective Strategy to life

  • Oversee the alignment and coordination of the Global Chairman and CEO's internal and external profile via various platforms, maintaining a trusted relationship with key stakeholders

  • Manage and provide strategic counsel to the Leadership Communications team, fostering a team culture that attracts, retains, and motivates individuals

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the global network, including the Global Management Team, CEO office, and COO, to ensure integrated and aligned communications, supporting the firm's reputation and growth ambitions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience as a communications professional with a minimum of five years of recent experience at the senior level with a focus on development and implementation of strategic internal communications strategies for professional services

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field from an accredited university or college

  • Exceptional project management and influencing skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders; comfortable working with senior leaders

  • Superior writing and communication skills with the capability to understand business priorities and translate them into compelling and actionable content

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of professional services

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
