CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Management Consultant IV (MC IV) supporting the Depart of Defense Chief Information Office Mission Support Service (CMSS) Contract at the Department of Defense located at the Pentagon, Washington DC.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The PNT MC IV will support DoD CIO GPS/PNT Core Support Services enterprise goals, increase mission effectiveness, and deliver efficiencies. Additional, will conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplification and measurement studies, and prepares reports, procedures, draft regulations, guidelines, briefings, and related documentation to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively within the CIO GPS/PNT Task Order.

More About the Role:

  • Performs data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.

  • Performs research and prepares and conducts business analyses and studies, needs assessments, requirements analysis/definition and cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align business systems, solutions and initiatives.

  • Develops, analyzes, evaluates, advises on, and or improves the effectiveness of management controls, processes, information and documentation systems, and similar functions of management.

  • Develops business methods for problem solving, process change, and solutions implementation ensuring enterprise-wide integration.

  • Identifies best practices, assesses performance measurement and researches, collects and verifies data and translates it into strategic and operational guidance. Guides and assists clients through a wide range of management, organizational and business improvement, and modernization initiatives.

  • Supports customer requirements for communication of organizational vision, mission, and strategy.

  • Prepare background papers, briefings, and speeches; creates web and portal content; and performs similar organizational messaging activities.

  • Supports customers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategy, doctrine, standards, policies, and procedures.

Additionally, the MC IV will provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or work assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge and extensive experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. Directs the activities of more junior personnel or other staff as necessary. May supervise others.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

  • Master’s degree or equivalent and 12 years of relevant GPS/PNT and National Leadership Command Capability related work experience

  • Demonstrate strong writing skills in order to provide finished briefing products, fully developed correspondence packages and policy document reviews and recommendations.

  • The selected candidate should be familiar with the National Capital Region (NCR) and be knowledgeable of DOD (services, components, COCOMs, etc.) and the various players who are stakeholders in the Senior leader communications mission domains and with U.S. PNT stakeholders.

  • Possess strong working knowledge of Pentagon processes and offices.

  • Have strong technical expertise and skills using MS Office products (word, excel, teams etc.)

  • Understand and operate Video Telecommunications (VTC) equipment.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work productively with diverse organizations across the DoD, civil government agencies, other branches of government, and international representatives and agencies.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,800 - $219,600
