Corner Alliance Project Support Specialist in Washington, District Of Columbia

About the Role:

As a Project Support Specialist supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide administrative support for our client-facing team and the Federal client.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  

  • Advise on project standards and efficiencies

  • Support the project manager in defining, maintaining, and assuring project management standards across project verticals

  • Schedule meetings

  • Manage program reporting

  • Maintain timely and accurate program meeting notes

  • Maintain team dashboard, calendars and tracking tools 

  • Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with colleagues and clients

  • Manage risk logs, raising issues to program management as needed

  • Follow up on team taskings and action items to ensure timely delivery

  • Manage multiple sources of input to facilitate client-ready documents

  • Edit and proof-read documents for team members prior to client submission

  • Do a variety of work while staying impeccably organized and anticipating future needs

  • Collaborate and build rapport with members of a large team

    Location:

    You will work a hybrid schedule, at the metro-accessible client site as needed.

    Required Experience/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • PMO support experience 

  • Computer and tech savvy

  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly 

  • Demonstrated experience in a support role

  • Ability to multi-task and use proper judgment to re-prioritize throughout the day based on new tasks or urgencies

  • US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Federal Grant experience

  • Salesforce and Smartsheets experience

  • 1+ years relevant experience in federal consulting
