VectorCSP Sr Mechanical Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Summary:
Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Polar Security Cutter (PSC) (CG-9326) Program Management Office (PMO).
Education and Experience:
A ctive Professional Engineer's License in either NAME (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering
PM Level II or equivalent certification
A t least ten (10) years demonstrated experience with Government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.
E xperience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.
Essential Duties:
Technical Management Services including, but not limited to, all services related to engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems)
Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents
