The Role in Brief:
Relationship Manager, Seramount
The Seramount Relationship Manager plays a key role in service delivery and project management for partner organizations with Seramount Research memberships including Diversity Best Practices (DBP) and the Chief Diversity Officer Collaborative (CDOC). The Relationship Manager supports partner relationships in collaboration with and mentorship from Relationship Directors who serve as the senior relationship owners for assigned partners—managing partner service, contract renewals, and portfolio expansion.
Primarily, the Relationship Manager performs day-to-day coordination and administration of activities and initiatives in support of the partner’s goals. Along with the assigned Relationship Directors, the Relationship Manager meets (via phone/zoom and limitedly in person) with executives (CDOs, CHROs, etc.) and DEI leaders at partner organizations to understand their DEI strategic priorities and identify appropriate Seramount services and resources to support them. The Relationship Manager works closely with member organizations and internal teams to develop and execute a partnership success plan aligned with organizations’ greatest DEI needs and priorities.
As a key contact and project manager for assigned accounts, this position communicates regularly with partners on delivery of services and ensures internal team members have the tools and information needed to execute on partner requests.
This role may be based in EAB’s Washington, D.C., or Richmond, VA offices, or is open to remote work within the continental U.S.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Manager for Diversity Best Practice (DBP) partner service delivery and partnership success plans
Draft partnership success plans with Relationship Director & Research Advisor input
Manage delivery of success plan activities & track progress against goals
Drive and track Diversity Best Practices (DBP) and Chief Diversity Officer Collaborative (CDOC) membership engagement and utilization
Ensure partners are aware of the full scope of membership benefits and are maximizing their usage as appropriate
Encourage registration for member events and webinars for key partnership contacts and broader organizational audiences as appropriate
Ensure key contacts and their teams are registered for DBP Member Newsletters
Share out latest research and resources
Coordinate and manage key partner calls and in-person meeting activities
Coordinate partner service calls & internal prep meetings with Associate scheduling support
Join partner service calls with Relationship Directors, leading portions of calls or entire calls where appropriate
Own creation of materials for engagement and strategy conversations including slide decks for onboarding and key calls
Own notetaking and call follow up including crafting partner e-mails and managing internal action items
Assist Relationship Directors with preparation for partner onsite visits and in-person meetings and join specific in-person activities as appropriate
Manage Salesforce entry and communications with internal stakeholders for service delivery
Liaison with Research Advisors as needed to prepare for partner engagements and fulfill partner requests
Enter notes for engagement calls with Research Advisors into Salesforce
Enter Salesforce cases for service activities and research requests
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Research Advisory resources to appropriately map to partner needs
Support strategic projects to help improve service delivery, partner engagement, and utilization as needed
Cultivate and demonstrate a baseline level of DEI expertise on topics relevant for partner organizations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of relevant professional experience supporting client relationships, serving in a customer service or project management capacity, or operating in a nonprofit environment
Ability to communicate with partner organizations and internal teams on a daily basis in a professional and effective manner
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with superb organizational skills
Analytical thinking skills and ability to manage processes, projects, and operations
Proactive approach, strong work ethic, and client-focused mindset with desire to add value to partner-firm relationships
Willingness to travel up to 15-20%

Ideal Qualifications:
Direct client relationship management experience

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $42,000 - $62,500 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
