Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our industry-leading team specializing in lifecycle services for all types and makes of industrial cranes and hoists. The ideal candidate will be able to build industrial overhead cranes and material handling equipment for a variety of industries, including shipyards, steel factories, and lumber mills. The role will require the operation of various machines, such as CNC lathes and machining centers, for the production of products including shafts, wheels, pinions/gears, drums, sheaves, and related machined crane components. The candidate will also be responsible for the maintenance of tooling, ensuring proper inspections, and performing preventative maintenance.

Hours:

1st shift - 5am-3pm (4-10s)

2ns shift - 3pm-1am (4-10s) - $2.00 2nd Shift Premium

Minimal Overtime - Would be on Fridays

Additional Skills:

  • Operation of a variety of CNC Mills and Lathes

  • Set-ups at the machines

  • Overhead crane operation

  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings

  • Maintenance of tooling

  • Performing preventative maintenance

  • Ability to adjust to variations in routing sequence

  • Effective communication with supervisors

  • Record keeping
