The main task in this role is to provide support in planning and implementation of country Marketing Plans for the CRM business, under the direction of the marketing manager and in line with European Marketing Strategy and the Country Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Working in collaboration with other CRM product managers and colleagues across Cardiovascular OUs (Organizational Units), flexibility on the specific product areas and projects will be needed, according to the evolving business priorities. The successful candidate will therefore be expected to be able to work across any of the product areas within the CRM business. The Goal is to grow Medtronic’s business increasing market size and share, identify unmet clinical needs and business opportunities to expand top and bottom-line growth.

A Day in the Life

• Support Marketing Manager with design and implementation of country marketing and communication plans for specific product areas and projects (strategy and tactics), including positioning, targeting, pricing and metrics, in line with European Marketing Strategy and Plan and with country AOP, to ensure broadest reach to existing and potential customers

• Develop, under direction of Marketing Manager, local product launch plans and manage local market release of new products and marketing campaigns

• Coordinate with Brand Manager national events such as conferences, symposia, workshops, congresses and digital campagins aligned with country and European Strategies and corporate identity

• Work closely with sales team to understand market and ensure consistency of marketing messages. Including regular customer and field visits across UK and Ireland

• Monitor country quantitative and qualitative market data (including competitive intelligence), account information and customer satisfaction information. Where appropriate create relevant sales tools

• Track and measure effectiveness and impact of marketing programs following implementation

• Manage product range including phasing-in/out of products and monitor product availability, including periodic quarterly demand forecasting

• Work closely with the Patient Management Team and HF Market Development Team to align product marketing with opportunities in the evolution of patient management solutions

• Develop a strong customer intimacy, close contacts and presence in the field, including KOL relationships and patient advocacy groups

• Partner with Commercial and reimbursement team to develop and position Value added commercial offerings

• Develop and maintain a strong level of clinical and product expertise

Must Haves

• University Degree

• Knowledge of medical device industry or pharmaceuticals, including an understanding of health care industry and reimbursement

• Experience of medical sales in the UK market

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

• Proven record in business planning analysis and strategic planning

• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

• Willingness to travel 2/3 days per week

• Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision

• Excellent communicational skills, positive attitude

• Fluent English, both verbally and written

• Full clean driving license

Nice To Haves

• Strong experience in medical device industry or pharmaceuticals area

• Strong product knowledge in the CRM product area

• Sales / Technical Related Experience in CRM

• Experience of the UK and Ireland CRM market
