The Acute Care & Monitoring Senior Therapy Specialist is responsible for selling and implementing the Medtronic Acute Care & Monitoring products and solutions in the Respiratory Compromise space to Medtronic customers and prospects in the South of the United Kingdom, with an enhanced focus on clinical and outcome-based benefits of our solutions.

Respiratory Compromise products focus around SpO2 & Capnography Monitoring. The capacity to engage directly with key opinion leaders in the Respiratory Compromise field is a must, while simultaneously demonstrating clinical & procedural acumen when facing other relevant stakeholders. This role requires a team mindset and a pro-active attitude: working together within Medtronic peers, Strategic Account Management, Key-Account Management, Integrated Healthcare Solutions and with other Operating Units.

A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for:

· Providing expert knowledge relating to Respiratory Complications focusing on Nellcor, Capnogrphy Consumables & RespArray within the South UK to meet or exceed sales targets.

· Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with relevant (clinical) stakeholders, KOL and local Ad Boards and societies in close collaboration with Account Managers.

· Achieving sales targets within the chosen strategic accounts, objectives and initiatives in line with growth expectation for the Acute Care & Monitoring portfolio.

· Spending time in the Operating Room and/or clinical setting like NICU, A&E & ICU working alongside our clinical stakeholders providing customer education, clinical insights and sharing best practice throughout the region.

· Conducting market research including customers and competitor activities.

· Executing local market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

· Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Research & Development, Operations and Marketing.

Must Haves

· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in clinical selling with a proven track record of success

· Degree level and/or clinical background or experience within this product area

· Patient Monitoring portfolio or clinical knowledge as well as industry knowledge

· Strong network in the healthcare sector in the South of the UK

· Competitive mindset

· Business development capacity

· Highest ethical standards

Nice to Haves

· MBA or other advanced business degree.

· Clinical education/ Nursing background
