Job: Delivery Team Member

Location: West Allis, WI

Type: Full time, direct hire

Pay: $16-$20/hour

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Team Member to join their dynamic team! As a crucial member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of furniture, mattresses, and appliances to our valued customers. Upholding our code of values, you'll demonstrate respect and courtesy to all customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver furniture, mattresses, and appliances to various addresses using designated routes.

• Adhere to delivery schedules and routes.

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle.

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in diverse weather and traffic conditions.

• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

• Lift and move items, with weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Prior delivery or moving experience required

• Prior delivery driving experience is preferred but not required.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to operate various vehicles, including box trucks and express vans.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Independent work capability.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with customers and vendors.
