What you will be doing:

  • Ensure accounts are charged off properly and referred to the appropriate attorney or collection agency.

  • Respond to and act on information subpoenas and restraint notices/levies is served with Jovia within a timely fashion (restraint notices/levies 5 days, information subpoenas 10 days).

  • Process approved charge offs on appropriate systems for loans, lines, credit cards, and negative deposit relationship accounts.

  • Work overdrawn savings and checking accounts:

  • Produce and mail letters to members at established intervals regarding overdraft status.

  • Recommend and report deposit accounts to be charged off based on established criteria.

  • Report charge-off and paid charge-off accounts into appropriate external system.

  • Summons & Complaints – notarized and provided to department manager for signoff

  • Prepare and present supporting information and documents for Management review in the event of an Attorney’s request for review.

  • ACH Warehouse, Visa Sweep report

What we need from you:

  • High School graduate

  • PC literate with word processing and database software experience (MS Word and Excel)

  • An aptitude for figures

  • Self-motivated, detail conscious, an ability to insure quality of work completed.

  • Good verbal, written, and telephone skills.

  • The ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must incorporate time management skills and maintain required performance expectations.
