Home Health Aides are unlicensed individuals who play an integral role on the healthcare team in homecare settings. They perform non-medical services and supports for clients who need help with basic daily activities and physical care, or require assistance with shopping, cooking, paying bills and adult daily living (ADL) activities such as bathing, getting dressed and eating. They are also instrumental in preventing hospitalization such as fall prevention. Key skills needed to perform the job include communication, time management, adaptability and interpersonal skills. Full/Part time positions available in Westchester County, NYC, Nassau & Suffolk counties. Must have HHA/PCA certification. Physical exam, drug screening and reference check required.
