The Production Manager - Aftermarket/Product Support will be responsible for leading a People First culture in a manufacturing environment; through planning, organizing, and executive production plans while drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and costs. This role will ensure all production contractual commitments are satisfied consistently and will be a point of escalation for ongoing issues not resolved by front line supervision.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee the plant manufacturing process/daily workflow of multiple areas/processes with the production facility and setting standards to ensure on-time production and quality objectives are met from leaders.

  • Ensure department specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and make plans to meet requirements set forth by the master plan.

  • Balancing data with team member’s perspective to drive accountability and results

  • Understand production goals and drive for results focused on meeting production forecast and ensuring budgeted labor is within plan.

  • Partner with Operations leadership on execution plans.

  • Develop and support robust processes to improve quality and productivity within multiple areas/processes.

  • Support implementation of and track major transformational programs.

  • Champion a continuous improvement culture ensuring engagement and commitment.

  • Responsible for financial/budget development and planning, approve expenditures, and manager operations keeping within budgets.

  • Responsible for facility requirements; security, machine performance, safety

  • Evaluate existing supplier relationships and recommend actions to increase quality and efficiency while reducing usage and operating costs.

  • Interact with customers occasionally in a professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience.

  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Management experience leading and developing others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience leading people and teams

  • Experience managing a complex manufacturing environment (multiple departments)

  • Knowledge in fire apparatus or heavy industrial truck manufacturing

  • Experience with capacity planning and resource planning

  • Experience with Microsoft office, Kronos, and ERP systems (JDE preferred)

Pay Range:

$91,800.00 - $153,200.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
