JOB SUMMARY:

Leads and oversees the development, analysis, and execution of strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on the aftermarket product strategy and roadmap. This position will be responsible for all aspects of managing and motivating the Business Development Team. This position will also ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the original strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Impact the profitability of the Company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results.

  • Develop, review and report on the business development strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team.

  • Develop and implement a strategy and define roles of each member of the Business Development team. Establish metrics to measure and report the success of the team to internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities and programs.

  • Maintains effective working relationships with Service Center Administration, Aftermarket Sales and other Product Support and Engineering professionals to ensure proper collaboration.

  • Responsible for developing detailed communication plans about new business opportunities and programs and which customers will be targeted and provide those details to the Service Center Network Sales team.

  • Ensures alignment of all sales team members by developing and implementing a consistent approach to the customer experience.

  • Working with Service Center Administration, establish a uniform approach to all lead generation activities. Ensures coordination of marketing and lead generation activities.

  • Responsible for the design and execution of aftermarket sales programs that support established organizational goals.

  • Operates in a team oriented, fast paced environment with competing and shifting priorities.

  • Maintains flexible mindset to take on and handle other duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, finance, business or other related field required.

  • MBA degree or previous leadership experience preferred but not required.

  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance, operations, supply chain, program management, engineering, or other related experience.

  • Pilot’s license preferred.

QUALIFICATONS:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to network across the company to accomplish goals.

  • Ability to contribute individually and lead, manage or participate in cross -functional teams.

  • Ability to create great working relationships at all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.

  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
