Responsibilities and Expectations

  1. Vendor relationship management
  2. Manage business system analysts
  3. Direct daily operations of application support analysts, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
  4. Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the applications support department
  5. Establish foundational practices and procedures including technical standards, tools, and platform standards.
  6. Provide leadership in developing and maintaining data integrity and validity for various applications.
  7. Manage the administrative processes for human resource actions (hiring, professional development, promotions, terminations, disciplinary procedures, and salary adjustments) to maintain a skilled technical and customer service-oriented staff.
  8. Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports.
  9. Perform periodic user provisioning audits for integrated systems
  10. Meet with executives, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  11. Maintain an ongoing list of current and upcoming project requests
  12. Assign problems, issues, and tasks to support analysts; follow up with customers to gauge satisfaction w problem resolution
  13. Review assigned project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
  14. Set expectations & focus, assign duties, delegate responsibilities, evaluate activities, etc., prioritizing application related problems or issues.
  15. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  16. Assess change requests for risk to production systems, and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported systems and areas
  17. Follow established Information Systems policies and procedures
  18. Follow established internal control policies
  19. Follow established compliance policies, responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements
  20. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head

Required Skills & Education

::: {align="left"} - The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - Banking experience preferred (5 years) - Bachelor\'s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience - Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience managing/directing software development projects and/or teams. - Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills - Experience coordinating, planning, and organizing upgrades of systems and technology. - Project management experience; PMP desirable but not required :::
