DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of your role, you will be responsible for operating a diverse range of construction and maintenance equipment, both light and heavy, across a multitude of abandoned mine land reclamation projects. These projects will be overseen by the Wilkes-Barre District Office of the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful restoration and maintenance of these sites, contributing to the overall environmental and safety goals of the organization.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; or Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or Any equivalent combination of experience or training. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license. Conditions of Employment: This position requires possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
