Spherion Purchasing Planner in WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania
We are hiring a Purchase Planner in Williamsport. This is a temporary assignment (15 weeks).
Job Responsibilities:
-Maintenance of incoming and outgoing ingredient inventories. Analyze inventory requirements, ensure all inventory information is current.
-Includes: creating purchase orders and confirming them with vendors, communicating back hauls, historical analysis for promotional and seasonal needs, expediting product needed, and communicating to production critical inventories
-Be point person for Vendor Complaints, to improve the quality of raw materials used in production to eliminate waste in goods and manpower
-Work with Marketing to minimize obsolescence related to product revisions and new launches
-Aid the Warehouse and Cooler Mangers in resolving receiving issues
