Position: Software Engineer (Entry Level, Junior, I-II)

Location: Williamsport, PA or Logan, UT

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Software Engineer/Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development and a strong foundation in programming concepts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while working alongside experienced professionals in the field. What a Day Looks Like:

    • Reviewing the list of assigned IT tickets at the beginning of the day.
    • Prioritizing tickets based on urgency and impact on operations.
    • Investigating and troubleshooting reported issues, such as software bugs, system errors, or user problems.
    • Communicating with end-users or clients to gather additional information about reported issues.
    • Collaborating with senior developers or team members to seek advice or assistance in resolving complex problems.
    • Writing code patches or scripts to fix bugs or implement requested changes.
    • Testing code changes to ensure they address the reported issues without introducing new problems.
    • Documenting the resolution process and updating ticket status accordingly.
    • Participating in team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and coordinate efforts.

Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or completion of a reputable programming bootcamp.
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
    • Experience with C#, SQL, VB, and other relevant programming languages.
    • Excellent pro lem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Prior internship, project experience, or relevant coursework in software development is a plus, but not required.
    • Exposure with low-code solutions, such as Microsoft Power Apps
    • Limited Travel, up to 10%
