Wendel is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief to work out of our Williamsville, NY office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers on assigned survey projects.
Successfully lead a field team.
Work on various engineering and land surveying projects such as boundary, topographic, highway and construction projects under the direction of the project manager.
Implementing field requirements.
Perform related office tasks such as processing and adjusting data, earthwork calculations, boundary line computations and mapping.
Qualifications:
Skilled in the latest survey technology.
Applicants should have an Associates Degree in a related field (or working towards it).
Field experience is strongly preferred.
Should be familiar and have experience with Electronic Data Collection, GPS and Robotic Total Stations, and AutoCAD.
This position will require working outdoors in various weather and site conditions.
Candidate must have a valid drivers license and available to work overtime on an as-needed basis.
