About the General Med/Surg 3 Department:
We’reseeking a registered nurse to join our team in the 43-bedMedicine IIImed/surg unit in the South Tower of NHRMC.Thisunit,with small, simple surgeries, is known for its close-knit, teamwork-oriented staff. With a range of support professionals including pharmacists, case workers, social workers, and dietitians, nurses here are empowered to provide high-quality patient care.This unit is best described as a family, where positivity, flexibility, and a passion for learning are valued.Join us in an environment where team memberstruly carefor each other, fostering growthandlearningina supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursingrequired.
Associate or Bachelor’sdegree in nursing preferred.
Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compactrequired.
One-yearrelevantexperience,preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course isrequiredprior to reactivating or reinstating your license.In order tobe considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
