Job Title: Soft Services Manager

Job Summary:

EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Soft Services Manager at our client site in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Soft Services Manager will be responsible for soft service delivery and relationships at the location as well as supporting projects and the facilities team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Soft Services Manager administers the CMMS system, including work orders, timecards and KPI’s with service vendors

  • Reviews employee time sheets for accuracy and enters into EFS system

  • Schedules and directs Central Services Team, maintenance technicians/contractors in day-to-day assignments through both daily interaction and meetings

  • Interprets company & client policies and procedures to workers and enforces

  • The Soft Services Manager is considered the subject matter expert in soft services (such as, Janitorial, Landscape, Pest Control, etc…) and recommends measures to improve productivity, and quality of service

  • Analyzes and resolves problems or assists workers in solving work problems

  • Coaches and develops associates, documenting when necessary. Conducts annual performance reviews with the maintenance technicians

  • Generates and closes site work orders ensuring all data is correct and meets account standards

  • Communicates with client in person and through correspondence to determine needs, handle issues and suggest improvements

  • Interfaces with soft service strategic partners and vendors to ensure protocol is followed

  • Assist Account or Project Manager in project coordination

  • Manage Preventative Maintenance and inspection work orders

  • Conduct building inspections and recommend improvements and identify safety concerns

  • Is on call and available for emergencies

  • Follows EMCOR Culture Statement and drives the culture to entire organization
