Description The Senior Manager will provide overall management and oversight to the Maintenance Control Department, ensuring a high level of aircraft dispatch reliability and system integrity. Provide oversight and guidance for Maintenance Control management as it relates to the overall direction, communication and control for all out-of-service aircraft, aircraft accidents/incidents, maintenance delays/cancellations, air returns/diversions and other maintenance irregularities. Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the airworthiness and safe operation of all assigned ABX aircraft. REQUIREMENTS: A&P license 10 years experience in maintenance of heavy transport aircraft 2 years experience in a maintenance control management position Ability to work flexible work hours and independently Strong organization, communication and problem solving skills Advanced knowledge in FAA regulations Knowledge of ABX GMM, Maintenance control procedures manual PREFERRED SKILLS: Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related discipline 5 years maintenance control management experience Qualifications Licenses & Certifications Aircraft maint duties (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
