Adecco US, Inc. NDT Technician in Windsor, Connecticut
Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join their East Granby facility. This position involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aircraft parts using radiography and fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) techniques. Position Overview:
Under minimal supervision, the NDT Technician will carry out inspections on aircraft parts, analyze and interpret test results, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. You will also have the opportunity to work with engineers, internal teams, and management to continuously improve NDT processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and implement customer requirements, including engineering drawings, process specifications, and industry standards.
Develop and maintain NDT processes, test methodologies, and procedures.
Understand manufacturing methods and part construction as they relate to NDT data.
Operate X-ray equipment and interpret films.
Conduct process control checks and perform NDT-related calibrations as needed.
Identify and evaluate new technologies and processes to enhance NDT capabilities and efficiency.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to other NDT technicians.
Collaborate with engineers, internal customers, and management to improve processes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree of Applied Science in NDT required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in NDT methods and manufacturing processes, with certification at Level 2 in radiography (RT) preferred.
Ability to meet the certification standards of NAS-410 Level 2 in radiography testing (RT) and pass annual eye exams as per NAS-410 requirements.
Strong understanding of NDT theory, methods, and procedures, with knowledge of NDT technologies, conventional, and automated testing systems.
Skilled in analyzing, measuring, and recording accurate data.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other personnel.
Proficiency in mathematics for analysis, design, and troubleshooting.
Competency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.).
Must comply with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
