Adecco US, Inc. Quality Inspector in Windsor, Connecticut
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled DSQR/Quality Inspector to join their East Granby, CT facility. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring product quality through thorough inspections, audits, and adherence to industry and customer requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute to the production of engine components.
Position Overview:
The DSQR/Quality Inspector will be responsible for releasing products for shipment, conducting first article inspections, performing dimensional and visual inspections, and ensuring all customer approvals are obtained prior to shipping. This role requires a high level of precision and compliance with customer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform DPRV (Designated Parts Release Verification) product release in accordance with customer requirements, including dimensional overchecks, visual inspections, and paperwork verification.
Ensure all necessary customer approvals are obtained before authorizing shipment.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace engine components following customer drawings, specifications, and internal work instructions.
Inspect hidden characteristics during various stages of production.
Generate and review AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) documents.
Review supplier certifications for compliance with purchase order requirements.
Conduct source inspections of components manufactured at supplier facilities.
Assist in Root Cause/Corrective Action investigations for nonconforming products.
Perform product audits in line with customer requirements.
Adhere to internal, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Current active SAE DPRV certification is required.
2+ years of DPRV/DSQR/DQR experience.
5+ years of inspection or quality experience in manufacturing.
Experience in the Aerospace industry is highly desired.
Familiarity with major aero engine cases and assemblies is preferred.
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.
Proficient with geometric tolerancing, gauges, micrometers, borescopes, and other measuring tools.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
