Collins Aerospace ISR & Space Solutions Windsor Locks is looking for energetic and highly motivated candidates for its Planning Organization. The position is the focal point for the execution of material planning activities to deliver high quality, highly engineered development and production hardware on-time to its customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the timely performance of various planning tasks ranging from requirements planning & configuration management through the shipment of deliverables in support of NASA an DoD Programs. Applicants must exhibit a high degree of initiative and sound judgment, working independently and as a member of an Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Program Management to identify and mitigate risks.

This role will be performed Onsite at our Collins Aerospace location in Windsor Locks, CT.

What You Will Do

• Understand the master production schedule and communicate with supply chain organization for impacts to schedule

• Create and manage demand to drive material requisition needs

• Provide material position data to support proposals

• Review and approve design layouts

• Participate in make/buy decision and vendor selection processes

• Review, approve and execute the implementation of Engineering Change Request and maintain Material Master data in SAP Create and maintain detail inventory shortage report

• Initiate Purchase Requisitions and Change Orders, and Vendor shipments (Returns and Outside processing)

• Initiate material ownership transfer requests

Qualifications You Must Have

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering disciplines preferred

• Experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field

• SAP/ERP system experience preferred

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Knowledge of ACE and/or Lean Six Sigma is encouraged

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
