Warehouse Shop Associate – $17/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Washing parts by loading them into a washer and unloading them after the cycle is complete.

• Sandblasting: Utilize a sandblaster to remove surface contaminants, prepare surfaces for painting, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

• Reading Blueprints: Interpret and accurately read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure components are manufactured to precise dimensions and tolerances.

• Conduct In-Process Inspections: Perform inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in the boat parts' dimensions, materials, and finishing.

• Final Product Inspection: Inspect completed boat parts to verify that they meet the required quality standards, including visual appearance, functionality, and performance.

• Paint and Packaging Assistance: Support the paint and packaging department by inspecting surfaces for paint readiness, assisting with paint application, and ensuring proper packaging of finished parts.

What’s Needed?

• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical or vocational certification in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and non-conformities in products accurately.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
