What you would do as our Communications Manager EMEIA

The role will support the Director & Head of Communications EMEIA with delivering the divisional corporate communications strategy to enhance and build the reputation of the business both internally and externally.

You would also:

You will support with executing the internal communications plan, but most importantly amplify the content externally, help building our corporate narrative and storytelling by developing and executing press and thought leadership, driving media outreach, drafting press releases, supporting with establishing an in-house press office, pitching stories to the media and responding to press enquiries where relevant.

In addition, you will act as a support to the Director & Head of Communications, where you will assist with crisis & issues management, leadership and executive team profiling and be heavily involved in driving communications excellence across the division.

As part of the role, you will review the communications processes and guidelines including press monitoring, and establish a clear KPI framework, to outline success of all communications efforts. In addition, the job holder will share best practice and news alerts that can be distributed to management teams.

The job holder will join at an exciting time where the EMEIA division is going through an substantial business transformation, where communications plays a pivotal role in driving awareness and engagement amongst employees across the business, but also raising the company’s corporate profile externally beyond just product, focusing the corporate narrative on strategy, purpose, sustainability and people.

Whilst the team consists of three people, led by the Director & Head of Communications, the job holder will join at a time where they can be involved in the growth of the team and shaping the next steps in the company’s journey to communications excellence.

The skills and experience you need:

  • Over 10 years’ experience in communications from agency or in-house role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or similar.

  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, who has a passion for storytelling and a way with words that can flex communication styles for various audiences and purposes.

  • Proven track record of delivering communications excellence both internally and externally.

  • Experience in crisis and issues management and media relations

  • Fluent in English; additional European language a plus.
