Roles & Responsibilities:

The role will require knowledge of FPGA Design & also some experience of project management as this is a combination role of managing Quest systems and also customer workload.

Expectation will be to shadow and learn from other seniors and follow the list below:

  • Support all Quest global processes using IPMS and other Quest intranet processes

  • Aid in management of customer projects IPMS & aid senior Project controller.

  • Transfer data from excel spreadsheets back into master templates or upload into systems

  • Strong Project co-ordination and reporting skills.

  • Design/Test engineering experience FPGA

  • Strong management of tracking project deadlines and submissions

  • Build and manage relationships.

  • Follow all Quest policies and procedures.

  • Develop innovative ideas (Best Practice)

  • Monitor and improve program health governance structure of project

  • Support scope of work within the project

  • Develop internal processes(S.O.P’s) and procedures based on best practices and lessons learned, where applicable

  • Training coordinator/mentor for Quest practical application & theory.

  • Contribute and present in technical and program reviews

  • Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve a wide range of challenging engineering problems.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

The successful candidate is detail-oriented and highly collaborative excellent communicator. There will be a significant amount of interaction with the customer’s teams. Listening to the customer’s issues and offering proactive solutions and reporting out is critical to building a strong relationship with this new customer.

  • 2 + years of industry experience

  • VHDL design skills to implement communication protocols, memory interface, data management, processor interface support, other.

  • Familiar with design, simulation, synthesis, place and route design skills

  • FPGA implementation, routing, design constraints, timing and pin-out skills

  • Troubleshooting RTL Design Flaws using Simulation Environment.

  • Ability to take a problem and come up with a solution.

  • I/O Timing Analysis

  • Developing DO254 related documents including but not limited to: requirements, design description, tracing.

  • Familiar with DAL-A design methodology

  • Personnel and project management experience are required

  • Experience managing project to a detailed plan and ensure delivery commitments are maintained

  • Strong foundation / experience in Aerospace engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with solving technical problems and leading cross functional teams (CFT’s).

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Effective in executive management presentations

  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to forge relationships and build trust both within and external to organization

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new methods, techniques, and approaches

  • Demonstrated communication skills

Work Environment

  • Work will be completed in an office environment.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 37 hour weeks

  • To be able to work in a high speed challenging environment.
