Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Press Operator:

• Read all instructions on the job order prior to running the job

• Monitor the products quality

• Inspect die's and tooling for damage or excessive wear

• Perform preventative maintenance on the machine such as replacing parts, enter settings, making adjustments, and lubricating/cleaning machine

• Read SDS sheets and follow proper handling/disposal of chemicals

• Running sheets in register and clean cuts to the approved proofs

• Prepare work area prior to starting the production

• Assembling/inspecting cartons to ensure quality appearance

• Inspects sheets for proper cutting and scoring

• Stack the products safely by using a hand lift truck

• Complete all paperwork on finished products.

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Must have knowledge/experience in die cutting operations

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed

• Must be detailed oriented and organized

• Maintain the work area so that it is neat and orderly

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Good mechanical understanding of presses is useful 

• Background check and drug screening required
