Day in the Life of a Senior Software Engineer:

You will work as part of an international, diverse, cross-functional, and autonomous team capable of handling the full life cycle of their product and services. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on in developing multitenant SaaS applications using the latest technologies as well as provide subject-matter expertise and mentorship to other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Write efficient, testable, and maintainable code.

• Serve as a subject-matter expert, mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Contribute to the company’s development standards and engineering best practices.

• Help the team fulfill the Quality and Reliability KPIs.

• Prioritize technical debt.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company including engineering, product, and support.

  Your Team:

Product development within Fluke Reliability is an internationally distributed and diverse organization. We embrace a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and individual empowerment to provide an environment where individuals can grow and thrive.

Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in complex enterprise software development products.

• Proficient with Visual Fox Pro 9.0

• Proficient in developing user interfaces with JavaScript or TypeScript, jQuery and CSS/Sass.

• Experience in building Web applications with Visual FoxPro

• Strong understanding of HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs

• Strong understanding of testing best practices.

• Agile Software Development experience with Kanban or Scrum

  Desirable:

• Experience with SQL Server / PostgreSQL

• Experience with CI/CD tools

• Experience with .Net framework

• Exceptional written, verbal, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
