The Certified Nursing Assistant reports to the Charge Nurse and is responsible for providing direct resident care. Provides direct resident ADL care in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains resident rooms and nursing unit in accordance with infection control standards. Maintains accurate, complete and timely documentation of resident care. Works with the interdisciplinary team to assist in achieving planned resident goals. Identifies residents on nursing programs and provides the necessary services. Complies with all established policies and procedures. Promotes and demonstrates positive customer service towards VHS, co-workers, residents and visitors. Assumes duties at any Virginia Health Services unit/facility as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
