Robert Half is looking for a candidate with a distinct set of skills for a Database Administrator position. The ideal candidate should enjoy the challenge of solving complex, multi-layered problems. • Minimum 3 years Oracle and MS SQL Server background required

• Experience in installing, configuring and administration of Oracle, Microsoft, and other database technologies.

• Production/Test/Development database maintenance

  Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree(Computer Science or Information Technology Preferred) or 8 years experience in Database Administration

• Prior experience building and maintaining documentation

• Practical knowledge of storage and server hardware desired

• Experience in production environments and willingness to be on-call

• Solid grasp of relational database management systems

• Experience tuning queries to improve performance

• Expertise in Oracle and SQL 3 years

• Microsoft SQL Server experience

• Proven knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting

• UNIX (SCO, Sinix Aix, Linux, etc.) experience
