Job Summary: The Director of Supply Chain Excellence plays a critical role in leading the strategic direction and building consistent tools and processes for the supply chain function within the assigned AGAB locations. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, strategic planning, and team leadership. The Director will drive initiatives to optimize supply chain operations and improve efficiency while mitigating risks and fostering continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies for procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and logistics. Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Demand Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and sales projections. Utilize forecasting tools and data analytics to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, meet customer demand, and improve free cash flow. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels while balancing service levels, carrying costs, and cash flow, as well as mitigating stockouts. Implement inventory planning techniques such as safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment strategies. Logistics and Distribution: Support transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
