Allwell Behavorial Health Services Men Line Nurse in Zanesville, Ohio

Utilizes the Nursing Process for primarily office-based nursing services to the population of clients with mental health/substance use/physical health disorders.  Provides health and safety education programs to team members, clients, group home operators, residential settings, and Allwell staff as indicated.

Responsibilities/ Standards:

  • Provides community linkage and coordination with health care providers, Allwell PMP, and other services as indicated.
  • Reviews and completes health assessment, manages health care needs of clients, as well as follows-up on health-related concerns brought to the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Review and evaluate medication administration and compliance to various sites and coordinates and/or provides training.
  • Assists clients with maintaining health and medical needs by developing, implementing, and evaluating these needs utilizing the treatment plan.
  • Provides nursing services as needed and directed.
  • Provides in-service education/training on health/safety issues for Allwell staff, clients, and/or external facilities, and as indicated by the needs presented.
  • Maintains a service conversion ratio of 100% as documented on the monthly production report.
  • Completes all documentation related to providing and billing for services via Allwell guidelines.  Clinical documentation complies with Allwell Quality Improvement guidelines.
  • Complies with clinical supervision requirements.
  • Administers injections as assigned by injection clinic.

Requirements

  • Must have solid problem-solving/nursing skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team member.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage a schedule with multiple demands involving clients, colleagues, and the general public.

*Education/Experience/Licensure:*

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, active, valid, unrestricted Ohio nursing license (LPN or RN).
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in nursing practice in full-time positions in a mental health, substance use disorder, or physical health setting with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.
  • Must have current valid Ohio Driver's License and be acceptable to Allwell's insurance.
