Philips Market Development Manager - Heart Rhythm Management in Zaventem, Belgium

Improve care for the 75-80% of patients who are not being treated per CIED Infection guidelines. Help hospitals and local societies operationalize care pathway improvements for CIED infection patients. Bring market development support in the markets (focus countries) in partnership with the International marketing sales teams and other relevant stakeholders in Europe.

Your role:

To support further localized execution, we are expanding our Heart Rhythm Management (HRM) International Marketing team.

You will work with a wide variety of physician specialties, hospital executives, and our Lead Management team to develop the Lead Management (lead extraction) market and encourage guideline driven care. Specifically, this involves identification and development of best practices, improvement of processes and methods for promoting guideline adherence, and sharing of these processes across the country. In this role, you will be working with various stakeholders including our sales organisation and marketing team, market access, Health Economic, patients (and societies), referring HCP’s and lead extracting physicians. Ensuring advocacy of outcomes and working towards country independence is key in this role.

  • Whilst the International Marketing organization is the ‘home base’, you work in very close collaboration with local organization in focus countries (EU-focus);

  • Engaging with hospital clinical and administrative teams to identify ways of working, share best practices, and problem solve on implementation of improved care pathway;

  • Proactively engaging and coordinating with Lead Management and corporate accounts sales teams (where applicable) to ensure streamline customer experience;

  • Developing best practice "playbook" on market development for lead management within a healthcare system;

  • Identifying and studying internal and external benchmarks of success in market development, defining what good looks like;

  • Driving the development of a core competency in market development that can be expanded to clinical adjacencies – cardiovascular, peripheral vascular – other businesses - markets;

  • Developing best practices that can be replicated;

  • Leveraging existing global evidence to drive adoption practices;

  • Working closely with US counterpart, share ideas and successes;

  • Given the focus on in-country execution, frequent traveling is to be expected in this role.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (technical, business administration or medical fields) with proven related experience and hands-on mentality.

  • Several years of professional experience in business/market development and/or marketing and/or sales of medical systems & solutions, services and/or consulting (healthcare).

  • Ideally clinical knowledge in cardiology, CRT/lead extraction, cardiac surgery

  • Very good knowledge of healthcare processes and eHealth.

  • Ideally, strong knowledge of remuneration structures in the healthcare sector across EU countries.

  • Convincing, engaging demeanor and equally high affinity for sales and IT.

  • Strong negotiating skills and very good communication skills.

  • Be a conceptual thinker, effective communicators and have strong influencing skills.

  • Ability to grasp problems, solve them independently and escalate them to the right people.

  • Can manage time very effectively, self-direction, a positive attitude, and high motivation.
